“Floral Poetry” by French contemporary artist, Fabienne Monestier
“Floral Poetry” is like a portrait of a rose in the garden. Fabienne used pure and saturated colors, in an attempt to resemble the profusion of plants and the magnificence of flowers and nature. Evoked in a baroque and lively, spontaneous style; combining both impressionistic and contemporary painting styles.
The exuberant semi-abstract floral subject fits perfectly with this very decorative and original format. The round canvas, the tondo, is a form that was used in previous centuries, but then with an oval format.
The edges of “Floral Poetry” are painted and framing is not required.
