Staging with art helps sell your home

Staging with art for faster selling at a higher price

Staging a home before listing, has increasingly become a good practice for home sellers. Staged homes sell faster and for more money than those that are not, according to industry analysis.

The benefits of staging in numbers

The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) in the USA has a “Consumers Guide to Real Estate Staging” which reports that homes that had not been staged before listing sat on the market an average 143 days.

Once these homes were staged, they sold in 40 days. Homes that were staged pre-listing, averaged 23 days on the market. Naturally, these numbers change depending on your local market, but ”faster” is the main thing here.

The same report indicates not every room needs staging. When professional realtors were asked which rooms they considered “very” to “somewhat important” to be staged, they indicated the living room (86%), master bedroom (83%), dining room (69%), and kitchen (62%).

How art can help

Strategically selected art can help emphasize a home’s good features. Artwork creates a positive mood (“emotional” staging) and makes a home look significantly better in brochures, ads, and online.

Try it ART offers a complimentary art consultation, installation services, and removal of the works upon the sale of the home. Our consultant provides professional advice around the type and size of the artwork, catered towards the seller’s home interior and budget. And since we passionately believe that art helps to sell a home, we’ll work with any budget to make that happen.

Renting original artworks can range from $60 for smaller to $500 per month for extra-large pieces (delivery, installation, and removal included). Rental prices are charged monthly. If needed, the final month will be pro-rated to align with the move or sale of a home.
