A big part of Donna’s life’s journey has been putting images on canvas. Over the past 30 years, her work has seen tremendous growth and we’d like to share. Come join us for her first virtual solo exhibition: “Mood of the Mountains”.
“Mood of the Mountains” | a virtual solo exhibit by Donna Winn
“Mood of the Mountains” consists of a curated selection of Donna Winn’s abstract landscapes (2017-2020), and takes you on a journey through the foothills of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. “Going through our new normal with Covid-19, I am so very grateful for the place I live and work. It inspires me every day, over and over again.”
Come, climb a mountain with Donna, and experience her joy!
About Donna Winn
The beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains; she loves it, and it is the place Donna Winn calls home. And it has a large influence on her artwork. Whether she paints landscapes, abstracts, or people, her art originates from her soul. Born in a small village outside of Montreal, Quebec, for the past 40 years, Donna Winn has lived and worked in the Calgary area. It is here, where she found her calling as an artist. Although she’s considered a mostly autodidact artist, Donna has enjoyed some art schooling at the Alberta College of Art.
Over the years, Donna’s work has been included in a variety of galleries throughout Alberta, and she was asked to donate to international charity foundations, like Amnesty International (which she gladly obliged to). Her paintings found their way to many private collections in Canada, the USA, England, and Taiwan.
All works are available. Kindly forward your inquiries to the gallery’s curator, Bouwien Luppes.
If a virtual exhibition is new to you, we like to suggest starting with the “Guided Tour” – see below.
